The song I chose is called Yereba, or big tree by Yankuba Saho. I found this on YouTube again where I find most things. I looked up subsaharan African music and this was in a playlist created. It caught my eye because it showed instruments that look a lot like the “banjo” type instruments you see in the movie we watched about Bela Fleck. These ones do look bigger but they look like a cousin from the movie instruments. I also liked this song for it’s bass in the background. That was the first thing my ears went to. I love the bass in any song and to hear it in a type of music I normally don’t listen to was cool to hear.
