The song is a perfect descriptor of Scottish bagpipe music.  It has the Scottish snap, the Scottish bagpipes with the low drone, and the marching feel with snare drums.  This song is meant to be a marching song for parades to celebrate the spirit of Scotland.  I chose this song for these reasons, as I believe it to be an essential Scottish song.
