Kotahitanga is a New Zealand pop song from Hinewehi Mohi’s 1999 CD called Oceania. It was written as a reminder of the “Kotahitangi Movement” of the 1890s. It mentions how a poll was made from “Mana” magazine and the song came out in 5th place. The song is upbeat and uses repetition in the lyrics. I originally found it on Youtube and got the information from a different website. I picked this song because the title is kinda fun to say, and the song is kinda catchy.
