The song uses traditional Indonesian instruments, especially percussion and gong like instruments that create a bright, metallic sound. It has repetitive rhythms with different instruments layering their patterns together to create a complex texture. The melody and rhythm repeat throughout the piece which gives it a steady and organized structure. I chose this song because it sounded really cool to me and it was traditional music rather than a more modern version that wouldn’t sound as authentic.
