The purpose of this song is to relate to people who have been away from a loved one and are missing them. I found the recording here on YouTube. The song has an overall sad tone but the music itself remains very powerful. I chose this song because during this past summer I had to live away from my girlfriend as she goes to SNC but her home is in Madison and I live in Green Bay so I only got to see her a few times, and so this song related to me in that way.
