When it came it American and Canadian music, I had idea of what I wanted to do. I looked through my own music playlist to find and pick this song. Greta Van Fleet has been a rising American rock band within the past few years. I was introduced to this song by my boyfriend on a summer night with all the windows down in a car. This song is so powerful. Its meaning provides a poetic version of the problems of today’s world and provides a very different sound along with it. The live instruments help enhance the meaning behind the words and the raspy sound in his voice makes the song even better in my eyes. Everything about this song is perfect to me and I think they show hope for bands of today’s day and age with live music.
