The song that I selected was found from YouTube. It’s called Adama et Ardjouman Diabaté and the two that are playing this song go by the names of Adama and Ardjouman. There names were actually in the caption of this song, which means either they came up with it or there wasn’t really a name of the song at all, but it’s still super interesting! They’re playing an instrument that’s called the furu. I have never heard of this instrument before but it’s really cool. It’s a super long instrument that is bigger and then gets a big smaller towards front of it. It also has a bunch of round things directly under the part that’s actually being hit which isn’t normally something you see on every instrument like this. I chose this example because of the instrument being played and just being it’s more of a happy tune. The two playing the instruments are smiling and enjoying what they’re doing which made me instantly love it even more!
