I truly enjoyed this piece because I found it both relaxing and musically beautiful. I loved the melody that was played on a Gu ch’in. Dr. Niu’s presentation in our class left me wanting more Gu ch’in music, so I found this piece. I find it fascinating how each hand means something different in the Chinese culture. Especially the different finger nail lengths, I thought that was so unique!
