I chose this song because I saw that this arrangement used a woodwind instrument, one that looked similar to a flute, I thought that was fascinating. The song itself didn’t have any words, however, there was most definitely distinct melody and tune. The background instrumentals included some form of drums, played in rhythm with the woodwind. I did some more research on the piece after listening to it a few times through. This recording that I found was a famous Indian musician’s rendition of Raag Nat Bhairav, which is a familiar morning melody in Indian culture. It is said that this melody is thought to be romantic and calming. After finding out some more information about the recording, I went back to listen to the song again. The melody is peaceful and cheery, much like you would think a morning to be like, with accidentals that make it seem romantic as well. It is fast-paced and upbeat throughout, as well. I really enjoyed this piece of music, and I could see myself enjoying this piece as I got ready in the morning
