This is song is called Yowanehaki by MAISONdes featuring wanuka. 

The reason I chose this song is similar to other song shares; I am curious what the most popular music in different cultures is. Similar to what I experienced in Laos, there was some music from the United States trending on Japan’s top-100 list, however, it was much easier to find artists from Japan on their list as well, than it was for Laos. 

This song is very upbeat, it sounds very bright and bubbly and the tempo is quick. There is a period in the middle of the song where the artist gets a little slower and watching her performance at this point, she looks to be a little distressed singing at this time. Despite how the song sounds, the lyrics are kind of contradictory. The artist is almost beating herself out. The lyrics are regretful about how she is always scared to take chances and she needs someone to push her and she is always so doubtful. She talks about how she always wants to fit in and how she can’t go on this way.
