I have two different songs from Civilization 6 this time because I couldn’t decide on which one was my favorite. I absolutely enjoy Middle Eastern music, and listen to multiple different sources such as The Band’s Visit, which is a musical, and these different Civ 6 songs. The Saudi Arabian song is based off of a Turkish song that has been debated for a long time for where it comes from since multiple different countries use this song and recognize it as traditional music. The song name I found for it was: Üsküdara Giderken. I provided a link for the Civilization 6 song, as well as the song it was based on. The original song was also heavily based on the song Rasputin. The other country I included is Egypt. I love Egpyt’s song, and it sounds similar but also quite different from the Saudi Arabia song. It is another traditional song, and its name is El Hilwa De or “الحلوة دي “. This song uses the flute a lot more than the Saudi Arabian song, and is more fast-paced. I also included the song it was based on as well.
