For the song share this week, I chose a Gamelan to share that I found on YouTube. I like this piece because it slowly builds on itself for the duration of the song, slowly adding more instruments and melodies. While watching the video, you can tell that it’s something they’ve spent time rehearsing, because their movements are in sync and it almost looks like a dance that they are performing, as well as the music. It’s such a cool way of expression, and sharing music with the world.
