This is an Islamic pop song by Harris J, who is a British Muslim artist and well known on social media. I chose this song because one of the genres of music I enjoy listening to is pop. I thought that it was very creative how he switched between singing in English and Arabic throughout the song, as he sung the verses in English and the chorus in Arabic. Salam Alaikum means “peace be upon you”, which I thought was a nice message for a song. There are definitely sounds being played in the background that sound instrumental, but they might be digitally created instead of created by actual instruments. However, there’s a clapping sound in the background, as well as what sounds like drums and guitar. Overall, this is a very uplifting and energetic song that wants to spread positivity and love.
