I first looked up Russian music, and one of the first videos that popped up was a Russia’s Got Talent videos. These girls were performing a modern version of this old Russian folk songs. It sounded good, but once I saw folk song, I wanted to hear the originally or a more traditional version. One of the first videos that popped up was this one, and once I saw him holding a balalaika I had to listen, and I loved it. I’m not too sure what he’s saying so I had to look up the lyrics. I loved the playing of it, was so peaceful and nice on the ears.
