Muốn Hỏi Tại Sao is a Vietnamese song that blends soul and R&B with Vietnamese pop, making it sound distinct from more traditional Vietnamese ballads of its era. The instrumental section of the song could easily be mistaken for western style music, but Kim’s vocals define the eastern origin of the song. I chose this song as my sister introduced me to it not too long ago and I have become a big fan of the song ever since.
