I chose a song from Australia because I didn’t realize that there were Aboriginal people in Australia, I only ever thought of places like Sydney when I thought of Australia. This piece is named Mokoi, which in Murngin mythology is a spirit that struck down individuals that took part in black magic. Mokoi was also known to kidnap and eat small children. I found this song on Spotify and it can be accessed here. 

The didgeridoo is present throughout the song, as is a singular, male voice. An interesting aspect of this song is the animal-sounding noises that can be heard interspersed in the song. There is also the presence of a claves-sounding instrument called clapsticks that keeps a relatively steady beat, without much differentiation.
