Bob Marley is one of my favorite artists of all time. So when I saw we were doing this unit I knew I would be able to share a Marley song for this. I chose I shot the sheriff because It’s the first song I ever heard, and I fell in love with it. Many artists have covered this song like eric Clapton and the grateful dead to name a few. The song carries a strong message and I think is a key example of reggae music. I love his voice and the way he uses a large band.
