The song that I have chosen is “Djembe Drum Ensemble”. I found this recording on YouTube and one of the things that I instantly loved about this form of music is the instrumentation. It is nothing but drums in this song and I absolutely love the rhythm and beats played in this song. There is a steady beat in the background the the rest of the group made sure to change up the rhythm every so often to make things more interesting. I chose this example because I feel as if this captures somewhat of a traditional African style of music and it is just incredible the way that they played their drums.
