I found the song “Muay Thai” by searching on YouTube. This instrumental piece highlights the music of Northwest Thailand. I liked this song because of its use of the Pi Nai, which you can hear in the vibrating reed sound that I feel gives the piece a more traditional Thai sound. The strong rhythm section of drums and cymbals creates a steady, energetic feel. Overall, I felt that this music was very different from Western music and really captured the culture of Thailand.
