I chose the song “Nagada Sang Dhol” by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir.

The song was made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is from the 2013 Bollywood movie Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

This song has a very fast rhythm, drums, and energetic vocals. I think it represents South Asian music as it has traditional Indian rhythms and instruments and is also a part of a Bollywood movie. 

I chose this song because it’s very energetic, upbeat, and seems really fun. While listening to and watching the video for this song, I vibed along and had a really fun time listening. And everyone in the video is dancing and vibing along to the song as well, so I felt it represented this culture’s music well.
