I decided to pick the song Husn by Anuv Jain for this song share assignment. The purpose of the song is to talk about the reality of being in love and the love not being returned, along with the pain that goes with it. I was able to find this song on YouTube. Some of the musical characteristics I noticed in the song are that it is polymorphic, featuring voices and instruments, specifically male voices. The song alternates between one voice and two voices. I also thought the dynamics of the song were mostly soft and quiet throughout, until it gets closer to the end when it becomes a little louder. I chose this song because I thought it was a great representation of music from the region. I really enjoyed listening to this song. It was different from what I typically listen to, but I found it was a very relaxing song for me to listen to.
