Omer Adam is a growing pop artist from Tel Aviv who prides himself with the blend of western musical style with Middle Eastern lyric and structure. In this audio example, I decided to submit this one because of its electronic instrumentation, something you would expect from a sort of western region, and how actual harmony develops. There is the use of a guitar track, which seems to have similar aspects of playing like Spanish flamenco, as well as an audio track of Omer himself, singing in Arabic, showing how music can both establish and break boundaries. One could argue that the purpose of this song is to make you want to dance…with Your friends, like the title suggests.
I want to apologize in advance, the only released audio of this had a standard background. Just bear with it, I like this song a lot and originally heard it in Rome, Italy, while in an inlaying shop (tailor who uses gold in clothing). I listen to this, normally, sometimes as I dive into my not english music interests. Have a good day!
