This sample is Ya Habib Al Ruih by Khamis El Fino Ali and the Mohamed Madi Orchestra from Egypt recorded in 1975.  It is a fast paced song with a lot of instrumentation and quick percussion accompanied by what sounds like a tambourine.  Though there are lots of instruments present in the sample, the most prominent are the oud lute, which is played by Khamis El Fino Ali, and some sort of flute sounding instrument.  This is a song I found off of Smithsonian Folkways because I was having trouble searching for sample songs on my own that were actually authentic to the Middle East.  I was drawn to this song and the whole album (Egyptian Nights) because it is music that is supposed to be paired with belly dancing like our example from class.  I think this sample from the album is definitely music that I could picture people dancing to because it is has an almost catchy oud intro and repetition to it.  I think that music that is purposefully created to be paired with an activity is interesting because that is not something that American musicians do very often today.
