I found this song after searching through multiple Indonesian playlists on YouTube. This song was appealing to me because of the different layers of instrumentation. In this piece, there seems to be at least one string instrument as well as an instrument that sounds like it is a chordophone that is being plucked throughout its entirety. Also, there is a lower sounding instrument that seems to act as the drone. I think that the strings sound very admirable in this piece and I really like how all of the instrumentation blends together. I was not able to find a lot of information about this song, but the playlist that I found it in included “Old Indonesian Folk Songs”, so this particular one must be classic for the country.
