I chose this song because of its instrumentation and style. The song is very calm and relaxing, which I like. There was a steady beat to the music. The tempo sped up and slowed down a little, but overall stayed the same throughout the song. The volume also stayed about the same. The scale and notes were all familiar sounding. 

There are three instruments used in this song, and two of them we talked about in class. The dan tranh and dan co were both used in this piece. The dan co played a simple melody in the background, while the dan tranh had a more complex part. The third instrument looks similar to the dan tranh, but it’s played with mallets. It sounds almost like a xylophone with strings. It had a similar part to the dan tranh.
