I decided to share the song Understand by Shawn Mendes. This song has powerful lyrics for the listener about how you are supposed to change in this life because that’s how you grow. I feel like most songs have some sort of meaning or message the writer and singer want to get out. A fun fact about this song is the writer and singer, Shawn Mendes, came from Canada and blew up practically overnight off of youtube. Most singers nowadays in America come out from social media. Which I find so crazy because there are a lot of connections through the internet.
