I chose this Gamelan because not only is it a wonderful song but the video also adds to the performance if you follow along with it. However, what initially drew me to this song is the shifting tempo and harmonies. The song has a lot of repeated rhythms however the different sections play at different intervals and times so it is unpredictable in the best way. The song is upbeat and at times feels almost rich. Another reason this song stood out to me is that just before it hits three minutes the song almost completely changes but then returns to how it was originally being played. There are other moments where it shifts although they are not as dramatic.
