Being a traditional Arabic song, this nine minute piece originated in Kuwait. Right away, my attention was caught by the fast paced tempo of multiple instruments. The song starts with a clear sounds of stringed instruments, drums, and tambourines. Some clapping is featured before the voice starts. Although there are multiple players, only one male voice is present – coming in and out throughout the song, while the instrumentalists continue playing the entirety of the music. The ending of the song is interesting because most of the instruments stop, while only tambourines and the voice can be heard.
