This song is by the band ‘Like a Storm’, which is a rock band that uses didjeridu in their songs to reinvent the sound of rock music. It’s kind of like punk rock music, with lots of drums and guitars. There aren’t any lyrics, but I enjoy the way the song is a rock song with a drum solo but also includes the didjeridu for a unique sound. The beginning starts out with just the didjeridu, but then quickly picks up tempo and transforms into something you’d hear at a rock concert. Overall this song was really interesting, and I chose this example because it’s nothing like I’ve ever heard before. We listened to lots of examples in class, but this one was unique and more up to date with the 21st century sound of modern music.
