I chose this song because it sounded fun, and it has lots of instruments that I did not know much about. The song is about six minutes long and there are twelve people playing. It starts with a man on a mallet instrument and two people behind him playing handheld instrument that clicks together. There are people in the back on drums. The person in the middle is playing what looks like a gong circle. There is also a person at the end playing cymbals. The drums and handheld instruments are keeping a steady beat while the mallet instruments play the melody. What they’re playing changes as the song goes on and it gets somewhat faster towards the end. It looks like they are not reading sheet music. They are all dressed in concert black so this is probably a planned event that might be somewhat formal.
