This song is a South Indian Classical piece that is all instrumental performed by Uppalapu Srinivas on an instrument called the Mandolin. He started learning to play when he was very young and his talent and skills, he quickly began being compared to some of the worlds greatest prodigies, some calling him the Mozart of Classical Indian music. Having his career take off, he went on to compose music, tour across the world, and receive many awards. The mandolin, a stringed instrument in the lute family, is plucked with a pick and has four courses of doubled metal strings tuned to be in unison. Other versions of the instrument exist with more strings but this is most common. I chose to share this song mostly because of the beat within it. The drums provide a wonderful beat while the mandolin and what I believe is a violin, plays along with it. It is so beautiful. I also found out that the mandolin being played is electric and I found that very intriguing. I hope you enjoy it as well.
