I decided to pick a country song because I feel like country is one of the first genres people think of when they think of music from the U.S. There are definitely other very popular genres in the U.S., however country is probably the genre I listen to the most, so I wanted to share a song that I really enjoy. That is how I ended up choosing to share “Simple” by Florida Georgia Line. Florida Georgia Line is country music duo Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. They are from Georgia and Florida, which is where their name came from. Florida Georgia Line was formed in 2010 and is a well established country group that has won a variety of awards for their music including the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Artist in 2015. 

I enjoy a lot of their music because it has a softer feel than some other country music that I listen to, especially “Simple”. This song has a very catchy tune and in my opinion a very satisfying rhythm. It also has a fun beginning because it starts out with a whistling sound, which is is enjoyable because it adds a unique aspect to the song. Overall it is a really good song that I recommend you listen to!
