I wavered between this song and another. Ultimately this song won because of the  depth of the instruments exhibited in this piece and the length of it. This is an evening raga, nowhere near as long as an overnight raga, but still a lengthy song, by western standards, at just over 17 minutes. What struck me about this performance, is that the sitar player, Rahul Neuman, is both melody and the drone. You could say that he is working double time in a way. If you count the tuning pegs, you can see that his instrument has 17 strings that he uses. The tabla, played by Abhiman Kaushal, has such a variety of sounds that they are capable of is really neat to see and hear. This song starts off with the characteristic, alap. At the 4 minute mark, the tabla joins in and the tempo speeds up, signaling the gat section. There are noticeable cycles in the gat, where it is leisurely and then quick, and then back to leisurely. Around the 12:50 mark the music speeds up even more, almost signaling the impending end of the song. https://youtu.be/_TktWQbsgcw?si=S1mXLd9ZJOD0catU
