The song I chose is a French Urban Pop/R&B song, which I found on YouTube. The song is about how her love came and left and how her mental state is volatile and she keeps questioning herself. I chose this song because the title intrigued me and made me want to learn more and as I watched the music video it was unique. The music video was filled with advertisements that ended up going wrong in some way. Looking at the music itself, the song has little contour or variation. It produces the exact same melody and rhythm repeatedly and Angèle’s voice stays within the same range for the majority of the song. There is a constant and steady beat throughout the song featuring a simple timbre. The song produces a mellow and slightly sad sound and is monophonic since the instruments play the exact same tune.
