The song I chose is titled “On The Low” by Burna Boy. Burna Boy’s real name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu and he is from Nigeria. Burna Boy has been very successful in his career, he won album of the year at the Nigeria Entertainment awards multiple times. Burna Boy describes his music as afro-fusion, it contains a little bit of everything including hip-hop, reggae and afrobeats. I chose this song because I really liked the chill vibe that his music has and how he also used some English lines in it as well. Burna Boy has also become very popular in America, he played at the Coachella Valley Music and arts Festival and has also been featured in tracks with Beyoncé, Sam Smith and other famous music artists.
