The song I selected was made and written by The Beatles. This song is all about John Lennon and how he was involved in an affair, as shown/hinting in the opening line “I once had a girl, or should I say, she once had me.” I chose this specific song because even though there are so many other songs for South Asia, this song I feel as though I can relate more to. I never had an affair but I have been cheated on, so I feel as though this was the perfect song for me to choose since I can relate to what is going on and the meaning of this music/song.
