I choose this song based on the artist Oumou Sangre who was mentioned in the Throw Down Your Heart film. I personally found her voice to be very soothing and soft compared to traditional African music which is very loud. The song itself is very peaceful and calming. I believe there to be some type of string instrument being played while she is singing. The song lyrics translate to her being worried about society and how they treat each other. Saying that even when you are nice to someone they can still become your enemy and that people should still see things through. Later on in the song you hear some sort of violin sounding instrument I think it could potentially be a Goje. Nonetheless the song is very calming and has a little bit of a dreamy sense with a powerful message.
