The song I choose this week is “Long” by Shang Bichen. I started this assignment by looking at the China Top 100 Billboard of this week. This song was listed at #5 and caught my eye because it was the top female song from China this week. The song link from the Top 100 Billboard brought me to the music video, which added much to the song. This song is the theme song for the movie ‘Lost in the Stars’. The song begins slowly and picks up in tempo and dynamics. The song includes one main female voice, and mostly just piano. However, percussion is added towards the middle more upbeat tempo of the song.
