“la Ora Na” in Tahitian is good morning, and if you listen to the song it is very upbeat and makes you want to get up and dance. I wanted to find a song that had an upbeat tune including the primary language of its origin. I listened to a few songs before finding this one by Ken Cartler, and this one stuck out to me the most. If you watch the music video, you can see women dancing to the beat that shows the culture more with the style of the dance they are portraying. We can hear ukuleles being played that are important in the Tahitian culture, specifically at parties and dance shows. At minute 1.50, we can hear the drums being played that give us a rhythmic tune and we can see different kinds of drums, and the culture itself. I enjoyed watching the music video and seeing more of Tahitian culture through the song.
