The song that I chose for my song share assignment is La Bruja, Written by Tlen Huicani. This song is classified as Jarocho music, meaning themes of nature, daily life, and social issues are the main focus of the piece. We can hear the heavy use of guitar and vocals. This is very common with the type of music. We also hear a harp in the background of the piece. It is also important to note that more than one person is singing. This allows for a call and response to add to the piece. I would recommend this song to anyone who likes calm music from Mexico
