The piece I chose from East Asia is title Jing Diao and it is a Beijing Opera Tune. During class I was drawn to the Chinese opera example due to it being so unique vocally. While searching for more like it I fell upon this piece. It has an upbeat feel to it and seems very positive. It is only instrumental, and the flute-like aerophone takes the lead in this piece to leave a bright uplifting sound behind.
