I chose this song because it is a family favorite. My mom and grandma always talked about my great grandmother dancing to this alongside her sister. Jazz is a crucial part of America’s music history; there were so many routes I could have taken, but personally, big band jazz is my favorite. The performers are the Glenn Miller Band which was formed in 1938. It became the most popular and commercially successful dance orchestra of the swing era. The Glenn Miller Band is definitely one to look into when listening to big band jazz.
