I chose the song from the movie Rio called I Wanna Party by Anna Hathaway because Rio is a movie about Brazilian music called Samba. When you listen, you can hear Samba- music and dance style. Polyrhythmic, which is influenced by the African region. You hear a lot of percussion, which is usually guitar and voices, and create the samba rhythm feel. The instruments you can hear are Agogo, Tambourines, Reco-Reco, Bombo, and Caixa. I grew up watching Rio and never got sick of watching and listening to it.
