The song that I selected was I Didn’t See You Leaving by Bobby Cash. Bobby Cash’s real name is Bal Kishore Das Loiwal and he is from Uttarakhand, India. Bobby Cash has made a name for himself in the country music scene and was even the only Indian country music artist that was a feature in a documentary called The Indian Cowboy… One in a Billion. This song has characteristics of current country songs such as the acoustic guitar, steel guitar, drums, piano, and twangy vocals and it gives off 90’s country sound that you would find with artists like Alan Jackson or Zach Top. I found this song while I was looking at country music artists from India and I read about his backstory and got interested and then I listened to his music I really enjoyed it. I chose this song because it was my favourite of his, and it aligns with a lot of music that I currently listen to.
