This is an example that comes from The Beatles. I first found out about this song during one of my music and culture classes in high school when we were learning about the British Rock Invasion of the 1960s. I find this song interesting because of the story behind why they made it. The lyrics, as you’ll hear, sound very random, and this is because they wanted to confuse listeners who overanalyzed the lyrics in some of their other songs. Another interesting fact is that John Lennon based the melody on a two-note pattern he heard when he was high on LSD.
