I think Elvis is a very good representation of American music – the music he sings is generally rock and roll, which evolved from the blues and jazz music, both of which were uniquely American styles of music. As one of the most popular artists of all time, Elvis is one of the most recognizable musicians, and he had many fans that listen to his music even now, almost 50 years after his death. Hound Dog is one of his most famous songs, and it’s a great song that you can just picture people dancing to on the jukebox back in the day. As a whole, Hound Dog is one of the most recognizable pieces of American music ever and Elvis is a perfect representation of how American music has changed and evolved over time.
