“Holi Hai” by Jatinder Singh, Sukriti Bhardwaj, and Harsh Upadhyay is a song celebrating Holi, a significant cultural and religious event in South Asia, particularly in India and Nepal. The song’s purpose is to capture Holi’s lively festival atmosphere, symbolizing the victory of good over evil and the renewal of relationships. It is said that the energetic rhythms and cheerful melodies connect people to the cultural and communal aspects of Holi celebrations.

I chose this song because it was my favorite while listening to different options. It is also known as a party song in South Asia, which is cool because it might be played by people the same age as me on the weekends, lol. The beat and rhythm to this song are very gravitating and makes you want to keep listening, get loose, and have fun.
