This song was written Shoukichi Kina who was a famous rock musician and political figure in the 80s. But the version I chose was done  by Henry Kaiser & David Lindley feat. Tarika Sammy. I chose this song because of the light hearted melody that plays throughout paired with the heavenly female vocals. I found this song because of popularity that the song; Hana (flower), had when it first came out in 1989. This is one of the most covered songs in all of Japan because of how popular it is.

I knew it sounded sad and beautiful but once I found a translation, I was assured in my thinking. My favorite line from the song was: Cry as much as you can, laugh all you want
Someday, one day, someday, one day, the flowers will be made to bloom.
