I chose the song Gimme Chocolate which is sung by baby metal, a Japanese all women’s group. This song is described as a kawaii metal and has been compared to a pop crossover song. The song begins with elements of thrash metal. The lyrics of this song talk about girls struggling to maintain their figure which is why I chose the song. In todays day and age so many girls feel the pressure to look and act a certain way instead of just being who they truly want to be, so I felt as though this song is very relatable.
