The song I chose is called Flying Bird by Munir Bashir. Munir Bashir was one of the most famous musicians in the Middle East in the 20th century. Bashir became famous for playing the Oud and was able to play at an extremely high level. Due to the music he was creating he also became very popular in Europe and the United States, where he was able to grow his career. I chose this song because I was really impressed by how fast he is able to play the Oud. I feel like it would be a difficult instrument to master.
